The Kosice Medical University General Medicine Program, consist of six years: two years of
general medical studies, three years of clinical studies and one year of a rotating internship.
The international programs in Medicine started in 1993 in English in the last 15 years more than
thousand international students coming from more than 20 countries graduated in General

General Medicine Program - Kosice Medical Univeristy
The program covers 6 years, that is, 12 semesters.
The 11th and 12 th semesters constitute the clerkship
year. For proper accomplishment of the clinical
practice good working knowledge of the
English language is necessary.
Medical students take part in the work of the clinical
departments and the training hospitals during the
third, fourth, fifth, and sixth years of the curriculum.
Studies are concluded by a State Board Examination.
Our degrees are accepted in several countries of the
world.
